Circle of Security-Parenting Groups are for parents or carers of babies, toddlers and children. The groups give us a map to understand our babies' and children's emotional needs and space to think about our own strengths and challenges as parents. We all have times when we struggle to be the parents we want to be and it can be hard for us to work out how to respond to challenging and confusing behaviour.
Groups run for 8 weekly sessions (1 1⁄2 hours long) with up to 8 parents and carers attending. There is a mixture of video footage, fun exercises, and lots of time for discussion. Parents who have attended love the groups and since 2010 over 1,000 have participated.
Blossom are partnering with Connected Lives, a charity that delivers these groups across London.

Over the course of our 4-week program, you'll gain insights into the key elements of language growth, with dedicated time for learning, asking questions, and enjoying a sing-along with your little one!

Week 1 – Play
Learn how supporting your child through play can lay the foundations for language development. Gain ideas of different ways to play with different aged children.
Week 2 – Talk
Learn the importance of talking to your child. This can be in everyday routines, using simple language to support their understanding, and modelling useful phrases for them to learn.
Week 3 – Sing
Learn about why you might sing with your child. This can be both songs that you know and also songs that you can make up! Have a go learning new songs with the group.
Week 4 – Read
Children who are read to from an early age have better outcomes. Learn how to introduce books from a young age, and how to make it fun!
