Heidi Hembry IBCLC

Heidi is an IBCLC who has over 10 years of experience supporting mothers and babies along their breastfeeding journey. Heidi lives in Hertfordshire with her partner and two boys, who started her on her own challenging journey of discovery with breastfeeding 12 years ago. 

Beginning her formal breastfeeding study in 2009, training as a Peer Supporter, Supervisor and Tutor with the Breastfeeding Network (BfN), Heidi volunteered and worked in hospitals and community settings alongside the NHS in North London for 8 years. In 2015 Heidi qualified as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), and in 2019 founded BreastfeedingHerts as her private practice. 

Heidi is committed to a non-judgemental, mother-centred approach to breastfeeding support, providing step-by-step practical and emotional guidance to help you to breastfeed with comfort and confidence. Continuing to provide weekly community breastfeeding support in Hertford with Positive Postnatal, Heidi is also available for private one-to-one support on Zoom as well as in your own home.
