In Person Class Booking Terms & Conditions

Blossom Antenatal delivers real-time, expert-led, evidence-based education that is accessible, convenient, inclusive and affordable. Blossom Antenatal courses are taught by qualified, practicing midwives and/or fully trained antenatal instructors, who only give general educational advice about pregnancy, childbirth and new baby care. Individual particular advice on your own current pregnancy and wellbeing cannot be given under any circumstances and clients must take queries about their own personal health or pregnancy to their Community Midwife, GP, Obstetrician or other appropriate health professional.

All Blossom Antenatal courses have been designed to be up to date and factually correct at the time of teaching and to represent the current accepted professional standards with regard to general maternity advice. Blossom Antenatal does not accept responsibility or liability for any loss, damage or injury to any person or property arising out of or resulting from attendance at our courses, and all in attendance are advised to take care of all personal property and possessions.

Blossom Antenatal courses have been designed as a supplement to the information, advice and general instruction offered by the local NHS Trust. All course material provided is for general information purposes only and should not under any circumstances be construed in any way as being particular individual medical advice or instruction. Blossom Antenatal reserves the right to decline any application to attend any of its classes. If you, or your partner, feel unwell whilst in attendance at the sessions you should immediately seek the advice of your midwife, GP or other appropriate health professional.

Online Access

By booking on to the our in person courses, you will be given £100 credit to be used within six months towards any of our online classes. Please note that this credit is non-transferrable and no cash alternative will be offered.

Payment

Upon booking on to any of our courses and once your payment has been received, we will send you a confirmation email.

Cancellations & Refunds

You may cancel your antenatal course booking at any time by letting us know of the cancellation by email to hello@blossomatenatal.com. We will acknowledge receipt of your cancellation by email within 72 hours of receipt. If you cancel more than one month before the start of the course then you will receive a full refund, less £25 to cover our administrational costs. If you cancel less than one month before the start of the course then no refund will be given. However, under exceptional circumstances, we can offer a full refund at any point up until the course begins. We require a minimum number of participants to run the courses. If for any reason these numbers are not reached then Blossom Antenatal reserves the right to cancel the course. A full refund will be given in this situation.

"Make-up" Sessions

It isn’t out of the ordinary for our clients to miss a session here or there. In these situations we will facilitate a make-up session if we have availability on another course or you will be able to attend the online class.

Unforeseen Circumstances

If, for any reason, Blossom Antenatal needs to reschedule a session you will be given as much notice as possible. In the unlikely event that the course venue needs to be altered, any new venue will be located within 3 miles (as the crow flies) of the original. In these circumstances, no refund will be offered. Under exceptional circumstances, we may need to cancel a session. If we do, we will always try to offer you a suitable alternative. If you choose not to accept this, we will offer you a full refund. As we have seen in the past two years, there have been times when our classes have had to take place as online only sessions. In the unlikely event that your class moves online we will refund 15% of the cost of your course.

Variations

We may revise these terms at any time by amending this document. You are expected to check this document from time to time to take notice of any changes we made, as they are binding on you. Some of the provisions contained in these terms of use may also be superseded by provisions or notices published elsewhere on our site.
