Jan Edye

Jan Edye IBCLC is a lactation consultant with many years' experience of supporting mothers and their babies to breastfeed, and training peer breastfeeding supporters and professionals.  She was voted one of Norfolk's most 100 inspirational women of 2019 for her work with breastfeeding and breastfeeding mothers.  The enrichment and affirmation to life that early bonds between each mother and her baby develop are like no other process.  Mothers deserve timely support to breastfeed, to be respected, and to maintain control at every stage of their breastfeeding experience.  The Covid-19 Corona Virus pandemic is an unusual situation limiting all normal contact.  While it is not possible to offer any face to face contact including for 1:1 consultations Jan is available for online consultations and for phone support.  Every mother is given time to talk about her breastfeeding journey, for her to talk about her hopes, and be offered personalised practical guidance for her to have the most positive breastfeeding relationship with her baby.
